The words of a Chinese proverb, "After bitterness comes sweetness," echo in my mind whenever I face a challenge. It's where my thoughts focus when things get tough. During my journey in bodybuilding, these words helped me to gain the valuable lessons of dedication, self-discipline, determination, and courage to push far beyond my comfort zone. Much like my pursuit of physical strength, I approach design with a quest to identify weaknesses and refine them to perfection, honing a keen eye for the hidden details that I can enhance and bring to light. I anticipate and embrace challenges because the bitterness of struggle will eventually give way to the sweet taste of success, echoing the timeless wisdom encapsulated in "苦尽甘来."

I am Michael Wang, a graphic designer based in California with an emphasis in motion graphic design.

Apart from design, I am also passionate about bodybuilding, which has greatly shaped my life, complementing others in unexpected ways. My commitment to bodybuilding has taught me valuable lessons in self-discipline, determination, and pushing beyond my comfort zone, skills that I have been able to apply in my design work. In addition, the constant challenge and growth that comes with bodybuilding have honed my eye for detail and sharpened my ability to think outside the box, making me a more creative and innovative designer. I also had the opportunity to showcase my passion for bodybuilding in a competition back in 2020. It was a true test of my hard work and determination.

I'm Michael Wang, a motion graphics designer driven by my passion for creating beauty and impact in the world. I have always been fascinated by design and its ability to bring the intangible to life and inspire change. Growing up, I was known to be one of the most distracted students in class, but my attention was drawn like a magnet when it came to designing. I am obsessed with detail and strive to make every aspect of my designs the best they can be. At the same time, I love pushing boundaries and experimenting with innovative designs. My ultimate goal is to create designs that look stunning and serve a purpose and make a difference in the world. I am committed to shaping a beautiful and functional future. Together, we can use design to create a brighter tomorrow.
